The Cheyenne Schools Foundation to host the annual “Run for #1″ 5K

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Cheyenne Schools Foundation is hosting the annual “Run for #1″ 5k on Saturday, September 16th at 9:00 a.m. at Lions Park.
“All of the money stays local. It goes to benefit the kids that attend District 1, and this is a great way to help improve the already great education that they get through District 1,” said James Yates, the President of Cheyenne Schools Foundation.
People wishing to participate can register online or at the North Lions Park Picnic Shelter at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event. Registration is 35$ for adults and 15$ for students. Children ages five and under do not need to register.
Paid registrations will receive a t-shirt, and proceeds from the event will go towards funding grants provided by the Cheyenne Schools Foundation to classroom teachers in Laramie County School District.
