The hot weather will likely follow us into the beginning of the Labor Day weekend. In addition to the hot weather, we are watching chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms today. Not everyone will see rain, but there is still that potential that some storms may contain some brief heavy rains and plenty of lightning. It looks like the best chance for shower and thunderstorm activity will be west of I-25.

As we take a look at the extended forecast for Cheyenne, we do have a slight chance for showers and storms as we head over the next 24-48 hours. Rain chances are a bit better as we head into the end of the weekend and into Labor Day. We do dry out and stay dry for the next couple of days. We see warm temperatures hanging around a bit longer, before we see a cool down. We warm right back up into the 80s by the end of next week.
Casper - Warm temperatures stick around a bit longer, but we do see increasing shower chances as we head through the Labor Day weekend. Best chance for any shower activity will be Monday, but chances are only 30% at this time. We do get a break from the heat but we do heat right back up by the end of the work week.
