CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation is looking to commission an artist or an artist team to create art for the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center.

Submissions are currently open and must be in by Monday, September 25th.

Artists must be 18 years or older, and they have to live or work in Wyoming.

This project will have a budget of 25,000 dollars and is inclusive of all artist fees, materials, fabrication, and transportation.

The proposal must include a visual representation of what the artist would like to create, and at least one image of the artists previous work.

“We have people that come in to the cancer center for many things, and we hope that the art that a local artist will create will help inspire the patients, their families, the team, and staff, and physicians, and everyone that works here,” said Scott Fox, the Executive Director at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

An artist information session will be held on Friday, September 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. where any project-related questions will be answered.
