City of Casper looks to fill two openings on the LGBTQ Advisory Committee

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Casper City Council is seeking candidates to fill two positions on the city’s LGBTQ Advisory Committee.
Their focus is fostering a more accepting and equitable community in Casper. The LGBTQ Advisory Board partners with organizations such as the Casper Police Department and the City Council to help put systems in place to help protect and empower the queer community. Ideal candidates for this position are folks who want to serve and uplift the queer community in Casper.
Gage Williams, the chair of the LGBTQ Advisory Committee, “We’re looking for new ideas on what to do next and just make sure that the city of casper is maintaining an equitable and accessible environment to the queer community.”
