Casper presents showcase for young artists
A Casper coffee shop is celebrating young artists in the community.

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Bourgeois Pig in downtown Casper is hosting Future Mavericks, a youth art exploration. The gallery gives young artists an opportunity to share their masterpieces with their community. The art on display is whimsical, fun, and raw. Not only is this a chance for young people to express their creativity, but also an opportunity to build confidence.
Copper Mack, the gallery curator at the Bourgeois Pig, says, “Anything we can do to get these kids up and out and show them they are worthy, they are talented, we are proud of them, the community sees them and we love them.”
The Future Mavericks art gallery is on display through the end of August. The opening reception is Friday, August 25, at the Bourgeois Pig at 6 pm.
