For our fronts there is a low pressure system to our east keeping the heat around the area but to our southwest are the remnants of Tropical Storm Hilary as it makes it’s way north/northeast. The low to our east is trying to take the moisture to the north but it will eventually make it’s way into the area bringing heavy rain at times but no threat of tropical winds as those have died out.

For our extended forecasts, we have rain coming into the area, mainly starting Thursday and lingering around until Saturday. Friday will be the biggest threat of storms for us so we’ll have an active period of weather to close out our August.

In Casper, hot for the next few days and then we cool down later in the week as moisture moves into the area and brings the cooler air along with rain chances then we’ll warm back up into the 80s as the rain leaves the area over the weekend.
