CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The first day of school in Natrona County is August 28th.
Kids who are new to riding the bus to school can practice ahead of time on Thursday, August 24th if they wish.
This gives parents and students a chance to be more comfortable.
Natrona County Transportation will pick up the parent and student at the student’s bus stop at their normal pickup time.
Busses will go to the NCSD bus hub.
From there, the student and their parent or guardian will be able to find the right bus to travel to the student’s school.
Parents and students won’t get off the bus at the school.
Busses will go back to the hub.
Then they’ll show riders they way they’ll go back home.
The practice run is only for elementary first-time students and they have to have a parent or guardian with them.
