CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A blast from the past took place this weekend in Casper as dinosaurs roared to life.

Dinosaurs roamed Wyoming millions of years ago and now they have made their way back. Jurassic Quest is a touring dinosaur exhibit and has made its way to Wyoming. Dino lovers flocked to the Ford Wyoming Center this weekend to experience all the event had to offer.

Kids love Jurassic Quest, and so do the kids at heart.

Adventurous Ashley, one of Jurassic Quest’s Dino Trainers, says, “I think one of my favorite things is of course the children… super cute, very excited. But it’s also the parents. The parents really get into it. They almost become like a little kid again. As we get older we kind of forget about dinosaurs and everyday life kind of hits us, but when they come through and actually see our exhibit, their faces light up and it’s like they’re a little kid again.”

Not only could you see life-size dinos built to scale, you can even ride one. Visitors also have the chance to meet velociraptors up-close, perform an excavation, and more.

Many of these kids are dedicated dino lovers and aspiring paleontologists. Most of all, they have mastered the art of the roar.

Jurassic Quest will be in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center through August 12.
