Showers Possible Today, Sunny Weekend Ahead
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - We have a chance of showers and storms today east of the I-25 corridor between Casper and Cheyenne. Storms likely won’t be severe and will be very isolated. If storms do move through, they’ll bring some heavy rain and some lightning but no hail or strong wind gusts are expected.

Tonight’s lows are going to be around average for us except for Laramie which is cooler than average and will feel more like the beginning of fall than late summer. Even cooler than Laramie will be the western edge of Wyoming where temperatures in some areas will feel more like winter than summer.

For our extended forecasts, in Cheyenne we have a few chances of showers through the weekend and on next Tuesday other than that, it’ll be a nice and sunny weekend and week next week with temperatures in the 80s.
In Casper, it’ll be dry all weekend and into next week. Some days will see us in the upper 80s and near 90 so hot days will try to return to the area. Other than the heat, it’ll be a nice time to get outside for the kids as summer vacation winds down. The meteorological start of fall is September 1st so it won’t be long until cooler temperatures settle in the area.
