Kids celebrate at the Fremont County Fair
Who loves the fair more than kids? We asked their favorite part.
RIVERTON, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - July 27th was the kick-off of the 110th annual Fremont County Fair in Riverton. One of the opening days of the fair is family day on July 30th; complete with free pulled pork sandwiches, bounce houses, face-painting and more.
Organizing this kind of event is a huge undertaking, but the folks who put it on do it for the joy it brings to others.
Pat Hart, the general manager of the fair said, “We work all year to put this on for the community and for the kids. When you see them smiling and having a good time it makes it all worth it.”
Family day is for everyone, but especially for the kids. This is what some of them had to say about their favorite parts of the fair…
“I do like to see the animals.”
“I love the dippin dots.”
“The bouncy houses!”
“To get painted on my face, I always love that.”
“I love everything because everything is so awesome and so cool.”
“I’m most excited about being on the news now!”
Family day was full of fun stuff to do, and it was just the start of a week full of activities at the Fremont County Fair.
