More Storms, More Heat
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -We have a chance of storms again today through the area with another marginal risk of severe storms. Storms will be much like yesterday bringing heavy rain, lightning and thunder, and some gusts of wind. They’ll fire up in the central portions of Wyoming and move eastward through the day.

Tonight’s Lows are going to be around average again tonight with upper to mid 50s across the area and some 60s dotted around. We’ll hit our lows in the overnight hours and very early morning but we’ll have some warm temperatures into the evening. Tomorrow’s highs will be hot again with 90s again being widespread through the state. Thankfully, a long break from the hot weather is on the way soon.

For our extended forecasts, Cheyenne will be seeing daily storm chances starting on Monday next week and persisting into next weekend. The good news with all these storms is that it will finally bring us cooler air as our highs will dip back into the upper to mid 70s next week and things will be much more comfortable. We have to be prepared for the active weather though, just in case some storms are on the stronger side.
In Casper, we’ve got a hot weekend ahead and the rain will hold off a bit but next Wednesday does start the rain chance and will bring cooler temperatures to finally put the hot weather we’ve had to an end. We have a few rain chances before Wednesday but those showers will be isolated and not everyone will be seeing rain before Wednesday but next week’s storms should be more widespread.
