Steady Weather Pattern and Summer Temperatures
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - We have a risk of severe weather in the northeastern portions of Wyoming this afternoon. These storms will bring heavy rain and some strong gusts of wind. This rain should help cool us down however as summer has taken hold across the state.

Tonight’s lows are going to be in the 50s and 60s for most places but we won’t get that cool until overnight. It will still be around 70 degrees in most areas until 10 PM this evening.

Tomorrow’s highs will be cooler than today but still very warm. 88-90 degrees are common throughout the state with only a few places being cooler. Mainly on the western and northern edges of Wyoming.

Those warm temperatures will continue in our extended forecast but here in Cheyenne we’ll get some relief later in the week with upper 70s moving in Friday and Saturday with Saturday bringing some possible storms. We’ll warm up again later into the new week.
In Casper, we’ll stay warm all week long and into next week. This week will be very dry and very sunny but next week we could see some spotty showers in the area. We’ll need them to stay cool as we’ll approach the triple digits Monday and Tuesday. Luckily there will be some clouds next week to give us some shade but be prepared for the heat and take precautions to stay cool and stay hydrated.
