Scattered Showers and Storms For Our Week
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Starting off today we’ll have some scattered showers and storms. They’ll be popping up through the afternoon but our best chances are going to be around 4:00-5:00 PM this evening. That trend will continue on through the week ahead with little variation. We’ll get some dry time but most days we’ll have evening showers and a rumble of thunder or two.

Even after a few showers today, our lows will look very similar to what we’ve had the past few weeks. Lower 50s and upper 40s for most of the state with a cooler western edge.

Tomorrow’s highs are going to be similar to today’s as well with temperatures in the 80s and mid 70s for most of the state and again the western edge will be cooler.

Finally with our extended forecast for Cheyenne scattered showers and storms are going to be the norm for a while as another blocking pattern will set up over our area again bringing more rain and unsettled weather. This system won’t have as much moisture coming in as the last one so rain totals will likely be lower but will still add to the already saturated ground.
For Casper, it’s the same as Cheyenne. A large blocking pattern is going to be setting up which means our temperatures and weather will hold relatively steady for the next week with a few spots of dry time in the week. Again, this system has less moisture coming in so rain totals should be less than the last system that moved through and storms should be less intense.
