Update on an accident on Pioneer Ave. and West Lincolnway Monday night

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - On May 29 at approximately 9:35 p.m., Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a crash involving two vehicles near the intersection of Pioneer Avenue and West Lincolnway said Cheyenne Police Department in a statement.
The preliminary investigation shows the suspect vehicle, a Dodge Nitro, rear-ended a Jeep Mohave while traveling at a high rate of speed.
The driver and passenger of the Dodge sustained serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
No injuries were reported from the occupant of the Jeep.
Driver impairment and excessive speed are being looked at as factors in the crash.
