Salvation Army celebrates summer with a bash
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -The Salvation Army is having a summer bash on May 20th.
The event will include a barbeque, face-painting, and balloon animals.
Cricket Wireless will attend to help with phone setups, and Stylin’ Styles will offer free haircuts.
There will also be free clothes given away from a large donation the organization has received.
It’s an open house to help the community and people in need to kick off the summer, and all activities are free.
They accept donations, and their food pantries are also getting low, so non-perishables are also welcome.
“We get to just fellowship with the community. We just get to be with people that come in and hang out and enjoy and bring people together, and we get to know you, and you get to know us,” said Crystal Smoak, Captain of the Salvation Army Cheyenne Corps.
The event will be from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Salvation Army of Cheyenne location.
