Suspicious death ruled a homicide by Coroner, Casper Police

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - New developments tonight concerning the suspicious death that took place on Tuesday evening in Casper.
On Tuesday... Just before 5 pm... Casper Police responded to a report of a possible deceased person in the 700 block of east 3rd street. When they got there, officers saw the body of a dead person inside the home.
The scene appeared suspicious to responding officers. They started an in-depth investigation.
Today, the Natrona County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death a homicide. They say the victim is 48-year-old Daniel R. Swope. Investigators believe the incident is isolated, and do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
