CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Unstable weather is here with us today so we could see some thunderstorms and some places have already seen some already. No severe weather is expected but all across the state we have a chance for some thunderstorms.

Things will get colder tonight as the storms wrap up and leave the area. Cool temperatures will come in from the west and take us below the average lows again.

Tonight's lows are going to be in the 40s and 30s

The slightly cooler than average temperatures will persist into tomorrow as well as most places will stay in the 60s with a few 70s across the area and 50s to the west. This cooler trend will stay with us into next week as well.

For our extended forecasts, Cheyenne will have another chance at storms tomorrow afternoon and into next week as well with storm chances starting Wednesday afternoon and persisting into the weekend. We do warm up into the 70s early next week but the storms will cool us down again.

For Casper, no more storms or rain is expected after today until Wednesday next week where we get an area wide chance at some more storms moving in and rain settling in as well. Again, we’ll warm up into the new week before the rain cools us down again.
