CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - If you’ve ever given to United Way, you’ve helped support about 20 non-profits in your community.

These organizations help families, the elderly, children and Veterans in need.

And to commemorate all they do within the community, they are getting dressed up and celebrating with a party this year.

“To have this gala to celebrate 75 years of success that hopefully launches us into 75 more. It’s going to be a wonderful night for everyone to get out and celebrate,” said Bryan Pedersen, Co-Chair of United Way of Laramie County.

United Way of Laramie County is celebrating its 75th anniversary. It is the county’s largest fund and grant supplier to charitable and non-profit organizations.

United Way of Laramie County will be holding its first gala event this year.

This black-tie event will have live and silent auctions, giving away Taylor Swift box tickets, local art pieces, and travel packages.

As well as a whiskey room courtesy of Pine Bluffs Distillery.

Individual and company table tickets are available, and their honorees include Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, legacy award winners and do-gooders.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get your spouse or significant other to come out to the unitied way’s event at the red lion on may 12th, get drssed up for a black tie event,” said Trent Keller, Co-Chair of United Way of Laramie County.
