Cool Temperatures Ahead
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Starting off today, rain and snow will be around the Cheyenne area this afternoon and evening so we could likely see a bit of precipitation here in the capital city but not a lot unfortunately as we do need some rain. After this rain chance moves on we’ll continue to stay dry too so our dry spell will continue for a while.

While our dry spell continues, our warm temperatures won’t as we’ll be in the 40s for highs today and looking at tonight’s lows, we’ll be below freezing again as the entire state is either at 30 degrees or below. Most places will be in the upper 20s but single digits are hanging around off to our west.

Tomorrow’s highs are going to be colder than today’s highs and things will feel cold compared to our spring like temperatures we had earlier this week. We’ll continue to stay well below our average temperature for the west of the week unfortunately.

We’ll finally warm up back to average temperatures on Sunday and Monday although we do have chances of rain on Monday and Tuesday. That much needed rain will likely be spotty but thankfully we’ll have more chances of rain through next week. In Casper the rain chances are going to stay to the south until the start of next week where we finally have a chance of rain.
