The High School Basketball Season Wraps Up, the Douglas Girls Team Captures Their 5th Straight Title, and the East Boys Win it for the First Time Since 2006

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The final day of the 2022-23 high school basketball season ends, and with that the 3A and 4A state titles have been claimed.

The Douglas Lady Bearcats continue their dynasty, winning their fifth straight title. In a huge pop off performance from Lauren Olsen, they beat the Buffalo Lady Bison.

The East boys team came into the season as the favorites to win 4A, and they leave the season on top. They were able to pull away from Laramie in the fourth quarter and won the state title for the first time since 2006.
