CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Steady weather on the way which puts an end to our trend of a winter storm on Wednesdays followed by a warm weekend

Tonight’s lows are going to be a bit chilly around the area with the eastern part of Wyoming in the mid 20s and the western parts in the teens which is around average for our lows for the season. Lows will remain around average for the week ahead as well.

Speaking of around average, our highs are going to remain around average as well. Not quite as warm as today (Monday) but still near 40 or in the 40s for some places. Not quite spring yet but we are slowly warming up so spring is on it’s way. Unfortunately it’s not here yet so we can’t put the coats away just yet but no deep freeze in the immediate forecast.

Our temperature trend for both Cheyenne and Casper are looking pretty steady with Casper’s being the most steady. Both areas will see a nice warm up into Sunday so a warmer weekend is on the way and it will continue into next week. Unfortunately for Casper, the temperatures are holding steady below freezing for most of the weekend so definitely chilly.

Wrapping up with our extended forecast, a steady week of weather ahead with plenty of sun and wind as well. Next week seems to have a change on the way but before we get there some steady weather ahead. For Casper, our weather is steady. Unfortunately our steady weather means steady winds and a snow chance all week long. While we likely won’t get any accumulation but flurries here and there throughout the week shouldn’t be unexpected. Overall, a steady week ahead but it can be chilly and breezy at times.
