Bohl talks Wyoming and football at the Capitol on Tuesday
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Football and Cowboys are as Wyoming as you can get, and today, the head of both visited the Capitol on Tuesday.
The head coach for the University of Wyoming football team was out to wrangle support for the school and Wyoming youth.
The coach spoke in front of the house and senate Tuesday, thanking them for their support and leadership and investing in Wyoming’s future workforce.
He said the education they receive that the University will contribute to Wyoming economically through engineering, education, animal science and I.T.
“A football team needs to reflect the values of the fabric of the state it represents, and I think our team does that. They are hard-working, resourceful, team-oriented, and many of these young men are residing in our state. And our most valuable resource we have are young people,” Craig Bohl, Head Coach, Cowboys Football, University of Wyoming.
Coach Bohl also reminds everyone that it’s only 200 days till they play Texas Tech on Wyoming’s home turf, so put it on your calendar to come out and support our guys.
