CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Central started Cheyenne’s day of wrestling against Sheridan, who proved to be a very tough opponent. While the Lady Indians did get the better of the Lady Broncs, the boy’s team would not fare as well. Keagan Bartlett, Thomas Berta, and Price Harpstreith were the lone Central wrestlers to take a win, while the Broncs finished on top the rest of the way.

After that match, Sheridan made a short trip across town to face East. The T-Birds ended up suffering a similar fate to their crosstown rival though; only Sammy Sanchez, Liam Fox, Hayden Van Dell, and Lance Davis were able to beat their Bronc opponent (Charlie Green won by forfeit). Sheridan won the remaining nine matched to win overall 46-27.

South’s gym was full for Friday’s contests, as Laramie, Thunder Basin, and Campbell County all joined the Bison for the day. Unfortunately for the viewing area schools, the Gillette teams travelled very well, going a combined 4-0 over the Plainsmen and Bison.
