Snow On The Way, Cold Continues
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The cold weather will continue throughout the week and a chance of snow will move in tonight and tomorrow into Monday. Luckily, the snow is not part of a winter storm so there likely won’t be much accumulation or travel impacts from this snow. We’re under a high pressure system right now so that’ll limit any potential for storm-like accumulation.

We do have snow coming in and it’ll come through tomorrow night and into Monday. The snow will likely be spotty and accumulation will be low so luckily travel impacts should be low as well. Snow will continue for a while however as it’ll be with us for a while into Monday night.

Finally, looking at our extended forecast, cold temperatures will stick with us for quite some time. Temperatures will warm up on Friday for Cheyenne but it’ll immediately cool off again. Unfortunately, the same is true for Casper where temperatures stay around 26 degrees for most of the week where it warms up slightly and then drops into the teens. These cold temperatures are below average as our average temperature for January is around 30 degrees.
