Veterans assistance in Laramie and Platte counties

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Press release) - A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout February.

Edward McAuslan is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. McAuslan can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

His office is located at the Joint Force Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne, and he will be available at the following locations:

• Wheatland: Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the Workforce Services Center, 1958 W. Mariposa Pkwy., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Guernsey: Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Guernsey Senior Center, 100 S. Wyoming Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
