CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Instead of veterans serving us, local businesses in Cheyenne are preparing to serve them.
One of those businesses being “The Donut Shop on Central” which has been serving veterans and our community for ten years.
“On Veteran’s Day, we are going to offer a free donut and coffee for our veterans,” Vanny Leas, the donut shop’s owner said.
Other businesses are even owned by veterans. “Pour Decisions Bar and Grill” is owned by Ron Gudenkauf who served in the Navy. They’ll be offering a free twelve ounce beer or soda with the purchase of an entrée.
“There’s a lot of heroes out there with a lot of stories that we don’t hear about and it’s just really important to me and it hits close to home,” Gudenkauf said.
To be eligible for these deals, you must present your military ID.
