Halloween weather gets a little spooooky
The National Weather Service predicts the weather for little Trick or Treaters
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -With Halloween approaching quickly, if you’ve been wondering what the weather will be like for your little trick-or-treaters on the spookiest day of the year, the National Weather Service of Cheyenne estimates warmer than the usual temperature for the special night.
Temperatures will be hovering around the mid-60s during the day, cooling off later into the night to the mid-30s.
Breezy conditions will continue throughout the day, dying off into the evening in time for trick or treating.
Meteorologists are also predicting a third La Niña winter in a row, making conditions windier than usual.
“Just be prepared for chilly temperatures that are normal for this time of year, nothing unusual for Wyoming. have an extra sweater on hand when the temperatures drop later. But we shouldn’t have any kids blowing away I don’t think this year,” said Michael Natoli, Meteorologist, National Weather Services- Cheyenne.
Meteorologists say temperatures will drop from the mid-50s to miss 40s during those witching hours, so ensure kids are bundled up and prepared to be out and about in those temperatures.
