Two people dead after crash in Converse County

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Release) - The Converse County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Wyoming Highway Patrol Crash Investigation Team, is investigating a one vehicle roll over that resulted in two Fatalities.  At about 11:50 AM on October 1, 2022, Converse County Deputies, Ambulance, and Fire responded to a one vehicle rollover near mile marker 26 on Cold Springs Road. While they were still enroute, Life Flight was requested.

Upon arrival, responding units discovered a red crew cab Chevrolet truck displaying Texas registration had left Cold Springs Road and rolled down a steep hill. Two occupants had been ejected from the vehicle and medical personnel on scene advised both were deceased. Life flight was cancelled and The Converse County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the Wyoming Highway Patrol Crash Investigation Team.

The two occupants are believed to have been residing and working in Converse County. They have been identified as 30 year old Stephen Bradley Duane Williams and 23 year old Cason C. Grant. The crash remains under investigation with alcohol use and speed suspected as contributing factors.
