Valor Baseball holding tryouts next week

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Casper Valor Vikings are a youth baseball program in the Oil City. The program includes teams from 8u to Senior Babe Ruth. This year’s 10u squad was led by Brian Reutner, and he said Valor is a “great program” and is honored to be a part of it.

“As a mission, Valor wants to reach the community through the kids and show them the tools and what it takes to succeed on the field as well as off the field,” said Reutner, the future 11u head coach.

Players’ fees are covered by fundraising efforts conducted by Valor Baseball, and the team has an indoor facility to help sharpen skills during the winter months. When the season rolls around, teams travel across the region to compete.

Next week, Valor Baseball is holding tryouts for all of its teams at Washington Park and the Field of Dreams. The schedule for tryouts is below:

Sr. Babe Ruth (16-18) - 8/15/22 - 6-8 p.m. at Washington Park

14u & Jr. Babe Ruth (13-15) - 8/16/22 - 6-8 p.m. at Washington Park

12u & 13u - 8/17/22 - 6-8 p.m. Field of Dreams 6

10u & 11u - 8/18/22 - 6-8 p.m. at Field of Dreams 4

8u & 9u - 8/19/22 - 6-8 p.m. Field of Dreams 4
