CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - After bringing home the Cheyenne Post 6′s 3rd consecutive Wyoming AA Legion State Championship on Friday, Kaden Anderson, Bailey Applegarth, and Wyatt Haught will all head to Arizona together to play junior college baseball.

The three Sixer seniors will play at Scottsdale Community College during the 2022-2023 school year. They will also be joined by Zack Costopoulos, who previously committed to Howard College but decommitted.

Below is each signees name and a quote after they put pen to paper at the American Legion Post 6 on Monday evening.

Kaden Anderson

“It means a lot to me, especially this year [after I] had that injury. [It] kinda set me back for a little bit, but that same time I had the injury, that was the same time I started talking with the Scottsdale coach.”

Bailey Applegarth

“It’s awesome. If I wasn’t going to play baseball, I wasn’t going to college. So, this is another way to further my education and still play baseball.”

Wyatt Haught

“It’s a opportunity to play at the next level, play better competition and then hopefully I can go and go DI or go DII and see how far this program, the coaches...can get me in baseball.”
