How to vote in this year’s Laramie County elections

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Wyoming Primary is just around the corner, and the early voting period is halfway complete.
There are three ways to vote in Laramie county...
Voting At Home:
Registered voters can request an absentee ballot to skip the lines and weather, and vote from the comfort of their own home.
To request a ballot, visit or call the Laramie County Clerk’s Office (307) 633-4242, or email election@LaramieCountyWy.gov (Subject: Absentee your name).
You will also need to provide additional information such as your address, date of birth, email/phone and more. Then a ballot will be mailed to you.
NOTE: It can take 7-10 days to receive your ballot in the mail, and an additional 7-10 days for the ballot to be returned. Plan ahead if you choose to vote this way.
You can also return the ballot at the Laramie County Clerk’s Office, or use their 24/7 secure ballot drop box, just outside the Laramie County Governmental Complex on Carey Ave, between 19th & 20th St. Ballots arriving after the deadline of 7 pm on Election Day will not be counted.
Ballots must be returned by mail and received in the Clerk’s office no later than 7 pm on Election Day to be counted. Ballots cannot be returned by email.
Early Voting:
Early voting opens 45 days before the day of the election at the Atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W 20th St.
Primary Election Early Voting begins July 1 and ends Aug 15 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
General Election Early Voting begins Sept 23 and ends Nov 7 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
The location is closed for county holidays.
Make sure to bring your voter ID.
Election Day Voting:
This is the classic way of voting. On election day, head to a vote center anywhere in Laramie County.

This voting period opens at 7am, and closes at 7pm, both on August 16th.
