CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Wednesday July 20, the Natrona County Republican Women held their weekly Politics In The Park event which occurs every Wednesday through the summer. This meeting was held so that Casper citizens could ask questions to the candidates running for Governor in this years election. Citizens in attendance also heard from State Treasurer Curt Meier who is running for re-election.

Three of the four Gubernatorial candidates were in attendance at the event which included Rex Rammel, Brent Bien, and Governor Mark Gordon. Each candidate was given 5 minutes to introduce themselves to the crowd. Following introductions the candidates each had the opportunity to answer questions which were submitted by those in attendance. The questions were filtered through a moderator and they included inquiries on how the candidates might handle another health crisis like Covid-19 , should one arise, and what citizens can expect from the Governors office in terms of the states energy future.

Politics In The Park will have three more events at Washington Park, once a week until August 10, 2022.
