HIGHLIGHTS: Sixers sweep Jackson on Senior Night
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Eight Cheyenne Post 6 Sixers were honored on Senior Night at Powers Field on Wednesday. Kaden Anderson, Nick Colgan, Xander Jarosh, Dom Lopez, Bailey Applegarth, Zack Costopoulos, Julian Romero, and Wyatt Haught were the players that were recognized.
The Sixers made quick work of Jackson in Game 1. They scored three runs without recording a hit in the first inning en route to an 8-2 win. In Game 2, Cheyenne didn’t score until the 3rd inning but eventually poured on the offense. Post 6 won its final game of the regular season, 12-2 in a mercy rule shortened six inning game.
The Sixers will next be in action in Sheridan, Wyo. for the Wyoming American Legion AA State Tournament from July 25-July 29.
