CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Cheyenne Central’s Athletic Director Chad Whitworth announced that a new tennis coach had been recommended to the board and could soon fill the role for the Indians. But who is the new name that might be stepping in?

Ron Bronson’s most recent job was in Portland, Oregon, with a history of coaching in other states like Colorado and Illinois as well. He’s lived in Wyoming previously, but this will be his first venture into coaching in the cowboy state.

Coach mentioned his particular style, and how he hopes to make the team better through individual focuses.

“I think for my players will tell you across the board that it’s very individualized. Like I understand you and your game, mostly get what’s going on in your head, and try to tailor the game and your opponents situation and the data that I’m going to give you is tailored to you and your style and helping you be most successful,” said Bronson.

Wyoming’s tennis season starts in three weeks.
