CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A couple of years ago, Andrew Johnson was lighting up the scoreboard as a Cheyenne Sixer. While he may be a Wyoming Cowboy now, he got to revisit his old stomping grounds on Saturday.

He was celebrated as the team’s record-holder for most triple’s hit in a single season, tallying 19 trips to third in a year.

While getting the third base bag that he landed on so many times will be a piece of his history, being back on powers field, and seeing his old teammates, provided him a walk down memory lane.

“It’s been a couple of years now, but some stuff never dies. Like I was saying, they’re brothers for life. Everything we’ve done together, it’s like it was yesterday in mind. Just going down the line’s what you do, I mean you go out there, go down the lines, the national anthem, then go play a game,” said Johnson.
