Rain Continuing Again Today
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Today has been a cloudy day so far. Mostly cloudy skies began this Thursday morning. Even more clouds and even some rain showers have already come through the SE corner this morning. Early this afternoon, clouds gave a little break and allowed some sun to shine down on the SE corner. Get out while you can because more clouds and showers are heading this way.
This system of clouds and rain showers will continue moving across the southern half of the state in towards the SE corner. Showers will keep falling into the evening hours tonight. Overnight, rain and some of the clouds will clear out. The rain showers coming through today are only under a general thunderstorm risk. Tomorrow will be another repeat day. Friday will start off partly cloudy, gain cloud coverage throughout the morning, and rain showers pop in during the afternoon and evening. The showers tomorrow have up to a Level 2- Slight Risk for severity. Gusty winds, heavy rain, thunder/lightning, and hail are all likely within the NE corner. There is even a low chance of seeing a tornado. Smoke conditions will continue staying light and mostly in the western half of the state.
Temperatures today are still warm, but they are much cooler than they were throughout this past week. High temperatures today are ranging from the upper 60s to upper 80s. Low temperatures will range in the mid 30s to the upper 50s. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the low 70s to the upper 80s. Tomorrow may be slightly cooler in temperatures for some cities in Wyoming. Temperatures from here will only get warmer again.
