Here Comes The Rain
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
There have been some clouds in the skies today. This morning really began with mostly sunny conditions. Temperatures were mild and wind speeds were calm. The afternoon brings warmer temperatures, clouds and rain, and fast winds. More of these conditions are on the way. A broad area of clouds and showers are making their way from the central portion of the state to the SE corner.
These clouds and rain showers will continue marching across the state into the later hours of this afternoon and through the evening. There is a Level 1- Marginal Risk for the showers today. Gusty winds, heavy rain, thunder, and lightning are all likely. Small hail is possible. The showers today will clear out overnight, leaving partly cloudy skies through the overnight hours. Tomorrow will be a bit of a repeat for today. Start with partly cloudy skies, increase coverage through the morning, and bring in rain showers through the afternoon and evening. The showers tomorrow will clear out Thursday night into Friday morning. Friday will also begin with partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures are warm today, but for some cities, today is actually cooler. High temperatures today are ranging from the upper 60s to upper 90s, potentially triple digit temperatures. Low temperatures will be mild again tonight, ranging from the mid 30s to mid 60s. High temperatures tomorrow will be cooler, ranging from the upper 60s to upper 80s. Friday will have temperatures that feel like tomorrow. Over the weekend, the temperatures will rise again.
