CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Dave and Cindy DeLancey are once again hosting DeLancey Team Roping events at the Delancey Family Arena at 1806 Torrington Road in Cheyenne.

The ropings will take place on several Thursday nights throughout the summer. Each week, ten headers and ten heelers compete round robin style. All headers rope with all heelers one time and there are a total of 100 attempts.

The header and heeler with the most total caught steers are the winners and if there is a tie it is broken by time. The top three head and heel all go home with cash.

“You can’t beat Wyoming in the summertime and that’s why we started these ropings on Thursday nights to give people a place to go and do something outside and enjoy the nice weather while it’s here,” said Dave DeLancey.

Below are the results from June 23:

1st Place ($400 per man)

Header: Royce Breeden

Heeler: Chase Hollingsworth

2nd Place ($240 per man)

Header: Kyle Breeden

Heeler: Josh Avila

3rd Place ($160 per man)

Header: James Graves

Heeler: Justin Skarohlid
