CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Saturday will see the return of Super Day, Cheyenne’s annual celebration to welcome in the summer.

Friday was spent setting up and preparing for the festivities as Lions Park began it’s transformation into the host site of the event.

this is the 40th Super Day for Cheyenne.

Lauren Boothe, the Event’s Coordinator, says super day gives Cheyenne residents a space to be together and learn more about what the city has to offer.

“the reason for super day is partially, it’s to kick off July and National Parks and Recreation Month, but it’s also a reason to get the community together to talk about all the leisurely activities and recreation activities that we have.”

Cheyenne Super Day will begin at 10 AM on Saturday.
