Changes Are Heading Our Way
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Conditions started off this morning with clear and sunny skies, opposite of how yesterday began. Temperatures were mild this morning and were very comfortable. Cloud coverage and rain showers also began this morning over in the SW corner of Wyoming. Throughout the day, those clouds and showers began moving across the southern half of the state towards the SE corner.
Those clouds and showers will keep moving towards the SE corner throughout the rest of the day. Overnight, this first system of clouds and showers will move out of state to the NE. Beginning tomorrow, more clouds and rain are expected to move back across the state from the NW corner with a cold front. By late afternoon and early evening, showers have a marginal risk of turning into storms. Gusty wind and heavy rain are likely, with small hail possible. With help from the cold front, a lot of the lingering smoke will begin clearing through the day tomorrow. Through the evening and overnight hours, those storms and clouds will move out. There may be some leftover showers along the northern border into very early morning Saturday. Any leftover cloud coverage will continue to lighten up through Saturday morning.
Temperatures today are warm again! High temperatures today are ranging from the upper 60s to the mid 90s. Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid 40s to the low 60s. The temperatures tonight are going to be mild again. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the mid 60s to the low to mid 90s, but they will be a little cooler for most of the state with the cold front pushing through.
