CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - We saw some excellent weather conditions around the entire state of Wyoming today thanks for that cold front pushing out all of the cloud cover in moisture during the day yesterday. It also left us with some cooler temperatures across the region with a lot more 60s and 70s rather than that record heat. Conditions look to be remaining pretty calm throughout the day tomorrow with just a little bit of cloud cover trying to sneak in from the south. This will actually be due to a low pressure system and trough along the eastern side of the state. It will begin to bring a couple of those isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon on Thursday.

A cold front expected to push through over the weekend will increase our rain chances, and decrease our temperatures. Wind gusts over the next few days look to remain pretty steady and only begin picking up late on Thursday when that cold front is expected to begin pushing through from the Northwest. By then, gusts will get up to about 30 mph but I don’t see any significant travel delays until the front begins pushing through the state.

Until the next system comes through, temperatures during the overnight hours will slowly begin warming up into the 40s and 50s with tomorrow’s high temperatures expected to get back up into the 80s and possibly even some of those lower 90s in the far south eastern corner. These warm temperatures are expected to stick around for a few days before the rain chances go up alongside the next cold front. Temperatures are also expected to drip down into the 60s and 70s again starting off our weekend.
