CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Dust off your scrubs and sneakers, the Certified Nursing Assistant is finally back in the classroom.
LCCC’s CNA program finally got the green light to bring students back in after a 2-and-a-half-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
Students who studied exclusively online can now take the 8-week course and get hands-on knowledge of being a medical assistant in the lab.
“These are really well-paying jobs for our community members and really a huge service to our providers and to the community members and health care centers in a variety of places.” Said Karen Bowen, Program Director of Nursing –LCCC.
These high-demand jobs are helped out by LCCC’s flexible classes that accommodate folks who are already working.
