Hot Weekend Ahead!

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Our Friday started off with some fairly clear conditions across the eastern half of the state. As the morning turned into the afternoon, heavier cloud coverage from the NW made its way into the SE corner. This afternoon, there will be cloudy skies, breezes, and warmer temperatures heading our way.

Cloud coverage from the NW is going to continuing rotating into the SE corner throughout the afternoon. Some faster Wyoming winds are going to pick up this afternoon. Those winds will help clear out some of the cloud coverage again this evening and through the overnight hours. Overnight, skies are going to remain mostly clear. Tomorrow will continue with partly cloudy conditions. There is also a chance of scattered showers along the northern and southern borders. Fast winds again tomorrow afternoon will quickly get the showers out of state. The same partly cloudy skies will continue through Saturday night and into Sunday.

High temperatures today are warm and on the borderline of hot! The high temperatures today are ranging from the mid 60s to the lower 90s. Mild low temperatures are expected again tonight. Low temperatures across the state will range from the lower 40s to the lower 60s. Tomorrow is going to heat up again! High temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower 60s to the upper 90s in the SE corner. It is going to be a hot weekend! Make sure to lather up that sunscreen and “try” to stay cool!
