CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County School District is reminding parents that preschool enrollment is still available and spots at 8 different programs. These programs are all half day or part time programs and are offered at Bar Nunn, Cottonwood, Evansville, Journey, Lincoln, Midwest, Pineview, and Sagewood elementary schools.

Pathways Innovation Center also offers a preschool program called the NCSD Lab Preschool. This program includes tuition fees due to its full-day offerings and the price is a $600 monthly fee. This program is also special because, along with the highly trained and certified staff, high school students from the Innovation Center who are working for their early childhood credentials help care for the children.

“We know that that early childhood learning and growth is essential to a successful academic career all the way through graduation and so by providing these opportunities within our elementary schools it really gives students a jump start into that early childhood success,” said Tanya Southerland who is the school districts Public Information Officer.

Children must be 3 years old by August 1st in order to enroll for these classes. For more information on how to enroll you can click here.
