CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
So far today has been a very nice Friday! There have been nice skies with sun and a few clouds. The clouds have increased in quantity throughout the morning and now afternoon. There are a few scattered showers across the state this afternoon, with more on the way.
Cloud coverage will continue moving in throughout the day. Showers are also expected to increase chances later this afternoon and evening. Some of the showers may turn into thunderstorms, with the potential to become severe. There is a marginal risk for the northern and eastern halves of the state, with a slight risk in the deepest part of the SE corner. That slight risk brings in the likelihood of hail and a possibility of a tornado. However, that is a very low chance of seeing a tornado this evening. Showers will continue through the evening and clear out overnight. Tomorrow, most of the eastern half of the state will have mostly sunny sky conditions up until the afternoon. By the afternoon, more clouds are moving in and so are the showers. Scattered showers tomorrow will stick around through the evening. Rain chances are currently set to continue on and off the next several days.
Temperatures have warmed up this last half of the week. Our high temperatures are working there way into the mid 70s. High temperatures today are set to range from the upper 50s to upper 70s. Tonight’s low temperatures will be fairly mild and range from the mid 30s to low 50s. Tomorrow will feel a lot like today, with high temperatures ranging from the mid 50s to low/mid 80s. Our temperatures will stay relatively the same over the next 10 days, for now.
