Head Outside Today Before The Next Rain

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Blue and sunny skies has been the trend to start the day off these past couple of days. Blue skies and bright sun is how today started too. Throughout the morning and now into the afternoon, there has been a slight increase in cloud coverage. It has been a minimal transition from mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Other than the few clouds adding in, it has been a beautiful morning. The winds have even stayed calm throughout the day too!

More clouds are going to continue moving in and across the state. These clouds will be moving in from the Northwest and West. Some of these clouds may even bring some light showers through the northern half of the state. These clouds are going to be sticking around through the evening and overnight. Tomorrow afternoon, there is a chance of scattered showers and even some thunderstorms. There is a marginal risk for tomorrow placed within the northern and eastern halves of the state. With the marginal risk, there is a possibility for heavy rain, gusty winds, thunder, lightning, and even small hail. And just for caution tomorrow, if you hear the thunder roar head indoors.

Temperatures are warmer today again compared to yesterday. High temperatures are ranging from the low/mid 50s to mid 70s. Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid 30s to low 50s. It will be a fairly mild evening. Another warm up is heading our way tomorrow. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 50s to lower 80s. The rain chances come back into the forecast tomorrow and look like they will stick around for a couple more days.
