CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

It has been another Tale of Two Cities type of day in the Cowboy State. The central portion of the state started the day with rain and snow showers, which has continued throughout the day. Riverton and Casper have not seen much of the sun today, if any. Within the SE corner, skies have been on and off with heavy cloud coverage and bright sun. The winds have returned this afternoon, with speeds in the teens and 20s mph range.

This system of rain and snow showers will be continuing to move South across the state. With the faster winds coming from the North, they will help move this system. The showers will clear out this evening. When those showers clear, cloud coverage will be left behind through the overnight hours and into tomorrow. In the deep portion of our SE corner, there will be a few leftover showers early tomorrow morning. During the late afternoon hours tomorrow, there will be another round of some very light and scattered showers the move into the North and Central portion of the state from the NW corner. From the evening on through Thursday, it looks like Wyoming will have some calmer conditions.

Tomorrow, there may be a few moments of leftover showers.
