CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -

Today began again with more blue and sunny skies. Temperatures started off the day already being mild and comfortable. There was a little bit of cloud coverage this morning, but has increased into the afternoon. The chance of seeing light scattered showers is still possible later on.

As heavier cloud coverage continues moving into the eastern half of the state, scattered showers will be more likely to appear across eastern Wyoming. If these showers manage to make their way into the SE corner, they will be very scattered but may produce some thunder. Faster Wyoming winds back across the state today will help to quickly move the showers out of the state to the East. Heavy cloud coverage will continue through the overnight hours and into the day tomorrow. Rain showers are not going to be a stranger over the next several days. Rain and possible thunderstorms are in the forecast through Tuesday of next week.

Cloud coverage and more showers are expected tomorrow.

Temperatures today are very warm. It is not hard to notice the difference when stepping out doors this afternoon. High temperatures are ranging from the mid 50s to the lower to mid 90s. Temperatures tonight are going to be very mild. Lower temperature tonight upper 30s to mid 50s. Tomorrow a cold front will be moving across the state and will start cooling us off. High temperatures tomorrow lower 40s to upper 80s over in the panhandle. Temperatures will continue cooling off into next week.

The cold front will be moving in and starting to cool us down.
