CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Cheyenne Post 6 Sixers welcome the Laramie Post 14 Rangers to Powers Field on Tuesday evening for a conference doubleheader.

The Rangers moved out to 4-0 lead in the 2nd inning and never looked back . Laramie starting pitcher Brandon Chavez tossed 4.1 hitless innings and ended earning the Game 1 victory by pitching six scoreless, allowing just two hits and striking out five batters.

Laramie won the game 4-0 and handed the Sixers (18-1) their first loss of the season.

Cheyenne got it’s revenge in Game 2. Post 6 scored three runs in the 4th inning and four runs in the 6th inning en-route to an 8-2 victory. Wyatt Haught (5.2 IP, 1 ER, 4 H, 6 K) earned the win and Ty Lobmeyer (1.1 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 2 K) recorded the save.
