Another Warm Day
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -
Today began more great conditions. Those skies were very blue this morning with the sun shining brightly. Those blue and sunny skies have continued into the afternoon today as well. Skies for now are staying mostly sunny with partly cloudy conditions heading this way. Temperatures have also warmed up quickly from early this morning.
Light cloud coverage is making its move across the state from the West this afternoon. The light clouds are currently situated within the western and central portions of the state. Throughout the rest of the day and evening, those clouds will continue to the eastern half of the state. That same cloud coverage will continue into tomorrow morning. There will also be rain showers passing through the NW corner throughout the morning tomorrow. By the afternoon, scattered rain showers are expected throughout the rest of the state. The same time the scattered showers are occurring, the Wyoming winds are expected to pick up into the 20 to 30 mph range. The faster winds will help to quickly move out the scattered rain. Heavy cloud coverage will stick around and the western border will continue seeing rain showers.
Temperatures today have warmed up since yesterday. High temperatures today are ranging from the lower 60s to the low to mid 80s. Low temperatures tonight range from the lower 40s to the upper 50s. The temperatures are going to be slightly warmer again. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the mid 50s to the lower 90s over in the Nebraska panhandle. Over the weekend, the temperatures will gradually be dropping.
